Just back from a week in Ottawa and scrambling to catch up with all the activity I’ve missed. Good – I think – to be back!
For part of the time I was at the Canadian Association of University Teachers (CAUT) Women’s Conference. There were about 120 delegates from all over Canada and even a few men! The programme had 3 interconnected themes: work/life balance, equity in the workplace and activism. the speakers were excellent, as were the small group sessions, and I came away energized and determined (as always!) to change the world.
